Rani Sawitri joined ASB in 2007 for a school-based DRR program until 2010 implemented the largest school-based DRR Education project in Indonesia for inclusive schools, special needs schools, and children with disabilities outside school. She rejoined in 2015 as Training and Capacity Transfer Coordinator. She is currently managing capacity building activities for ASB and partners in coordination with the programme/project manager. She is also responsible for developing IEC materials for training and the project’s knowledge product. She has extensive overseas training and facilitation experience in the field of capacity development and humanitarian action. She is a national safe school facilitator who works closely with the Ministry of Education. She has experience in managing mangrove conservation and restoration projects with a master’s degree from Environmental Management Gadjah Mada University.
