Towards Locally-Led Inclusive Humanitarian Response: A Learning from Central Sulawesi
An earthquake followed by a tsunami and soil liquefaction hit Central
Sulawesi Province on 28 September 2018 with Palu City, Sigi, Donggala,
and Parigi Moutong Districts most severely affected. In total, earthquake,
tsunami and soil liquefaction caused 4,340 casualties, 172,635 internally
displaced persons, 68,451 damaged houses, and economic losses of more
than IDR 18 trillion.
