Agnes Patongloan joined ASB for the first time in 2010 for two years and rejoined in 2016. She is currently managing ASB’s DiDRRN project on the inclusion of persons with disabilities in preparedness and emergency response. Prior to it, she also managed inclusive emergency response and early recovery programs post-earthquake and tsunami and inclusive COVID-19 response in Central Sulawesi and inclusive disaster management capacity building program for government officials in Indonesia. Through this program and her previous works, she works closely with local Organisations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) for a more inclusive DRR and humanitarian response. She has more than ten years of experience in disaster risk management and humanitarian response with various organisations. She has extensive, inclusive facilitation, training and capacity development experiences throughout her professional working years.
