Rofikul Hidayat, who is familiarly called Fikul, first joined ASB in 2008 for five years and rejoined in 2014. Throughout his journey with ASB, Fikul has played various roles, starting as a trainer and facilitator in the community, continuing as a manager of several projects. Currently, Fikul is responsible for capacity building for ASB partners and also carrying out engagement tasks with stakeholders, especially the government. He has experience in implementing school-based and community-based inclusive disaster risk reduction programs and ecotourism livelihood projects. He developed his career by having special expertise in disaster risk management, developing disaster risk reduction plan documents, social inclusion, and community empowerment. His expertise includes inclusive facilitation of training, institutional capacity building and strategy setting for partnerships, government engagement, and meaningful community participation.
