ASB’s Office for Indonesia and the Philippines has released a new resource on disability-inclusive disaster risk reduction (DRR).
This new working paper from ASB introduces the Washington Group Short Set of Questions on Disability and how these questions can be used in a range of DRR applications.
The paper explains the linkages between functioning limitations and the risk of individuals and communities. The Washington Group questions provide a practical and effective tool to better incorporate understandings of functioning into DRR policy and practice.
